US intelligence agencies got the hang of using AirTag trackers to spy on drug dealers.

At one time, Apple developed a miniature AirTag tracker to track lost items. However, very soon, the secret services began to use (as it turned out, not entirely legally) these harmless devices in their interests. Thus, the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) armed with AirTag to spy on drug traffickers. According to Forbes, not so long ago, DEA agents, for the first time, installed such a “b”g” “n a tablet compression device, which, in their opinion, could be used for the illegal production and delivery of drugs from China. Tracking GPS devices have been actively used by the special services of many countries for several years, but Apple should be given credit – compared to them, AirTag is much more compact and easier to use. However, they create problems not only for drug traffickers. A review of police records showed that a third of AirTag use cases are for surveillance of law-abiding citizens, which has already become the cause of a class action lawsuit against Apple. In response, the company has developed a built-in device that prevents the private use of AirTag. When a hidden alien “b”g” “s detected, the iPhone will warn its owner about this via Bluetooth with a sound signal.
